The
GSM-Remote terminal unit RTU-1000 is a further development and
used as universal input/output unit. The state of the digital
and analog inputs will be transmitted by a GSM-modem to the
control centre. This control centre can receive the data
through the GSM-network as well as through the standard public
telephone lines.
Following
standard I/Os are available:

8 digital Inputs (as well for BCD-Codes of the
transformer tap changer)

2 analog Inputs (0-240VAC, 0(4)-20mA)

2 digital Outputs
A
special developed ASCII-Protocol is used.
For
larger networks a adjustment to the existing protocols will be
done. This depends on the existing control centre. Principally
every protocol emulation according the IEC-standards are
